We Started ViTaility Labs Because We Believe in the Power of Peptides
Peptides have been studied in human biology and performance science for years. We kept asking a simple question: why isn't that same level of research,
quality, and transparency available for our pets? So we decided to build it.

FOUNDER'S JOURNEY
Hope For Basil
Our founder, Shannon Eller, is a nurse practitioner and the owner of a regenerative medicine practice. When her Ridgeback, Basil, was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and lymphoma and conventional treatment wasn't giving her the outcome she was hoping for, Shannon turned to her own clinical background. Drawing on her experience with regenerative medicine, she explored a peptide and exosome-based approach alongside Bernie's care team.
Today Basil is 12 years old, medicine-free, happy and healthy. That experience is what convinced Shannon that pet owners deserved better access to the same caliber of research and rigor she'd apply in her own practice, and it's the reason ViTaility Labs exists.
LEADERSHIP
Jaxson's Recovery
When Erika Powers’ French Bulldog, Jaxson, was seriously injured in a golf cart accident and suffered lung damage in the aftermath, she turned to Shannon for help. While working with his veterinary team on his recovery, Erika started him on a BPC-157 regimen as part of his care plan. Jaxson recovered, and today he's back to being himself. Erika was so impressed with the results of Jaxson’s protocol that she wanted to be part of ViTaility Labs. She noe serves as Chief Marketing Officer.
Between Basil and Jaxson, the vision for ViTaility Labs took shape: two people who'd already turned to peptide science for their own animals, wondering why it was this hard to find a source they actually trusted.

Why We Built ViTaility Labs
We never set out to start a peptide research company. But once we went looking for research-grade peptides for our own animals, the gap became obvious: plenty of options, not much transparency, and almost nothing built specifically with companion animals and horses in mind.

The Standards We Hold Ourselves To
Purity Matters
Every batch meets a minimum of 99% purity, independently tested and verified by a third-party laboratory. It's the same standard we'd want for our own animals.
Pet-Specific Dosing
Dogs and horses aren't small humans, and dosing frameworks built for people don't translate by simply scaling down. We work from frameworks built specifically around companion animal and equine size and physiology, and your veterinarian is the one who applies them to your animal.
